On June 1st of 2015, LuxAir Aviation purchased the Marion Airport in conjunction with the City of Marion to create a unique hybrid airport which would help play a significant role in the economic growth of the City of Marion..

After just 10-years, the City of Marion announced in early 2025 that they no longer wanterd to be in the airport business.  In July of 2025 the City of Marion sold their portion of the airport to 530 Investmets, who stepped up in an effort to save the Marion Airport for future generations..

LuxAir Aviation still owns all other airport property.  We will be your point of contact for aircraft services, fuel sales, hangar rentals, and care and development of the airport.

The goal of LuxAir Avitaion and 530 Investments is to preserve the small airport environment while offering professional services and support the many  aviation-related businesses within our community.

A huge Thank You to all the loyal supporters of the Marion Airport, as well as to the  businesses who operate on the airfield to serve the aviation needs of the community, including pilot training, charter flights, aircraft maintenance, Agricultural support, Medical Response support, and to all who partner in our efforts to offer a place for aviation enthusiants of all ages to persue their dreams in an aviation-related field.
